What is the difference between cow and buffalo ghee?
Cow ghee is golden, lighter and has a nutty aroma — ideal for everyday cooking. Buffalo ghee is white, thicker and richer, and is preferred for sweets, halwa and frying.
How should I store ghee and honey?
Keep both in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, with the lid closed and a dry spoon. Ghee does not need refrigeration. Honey can crystallise in winter — that is natural; warm the jar in lukewarm water to make it runny again.
How long do pinni and panjiri stay fresh?
Stored in an airtight container away from moisture, they keep well for several weeks. The best-before date is printed on every pack.
